Who says Malaysians are last-minute optioners?

Unlike when exchanging the old IC to Mykad, now Malaysians are more concern to get their rebates.

Pos Malaysia Bhd paid out RM116.734 million in fuel subsidy rebates to more than 239,414 motor vehicle owners at 683 post offices on the first day of the payout yesterday.

Thousands had gathered at post offices as early as 7am before the service counters opened at 8am.

Despite the huge turnout, the payments started smoothly and in just 21/2 hours more than RM24 million had been paid out to 47,774 vehicle owners
