Horse Power Word Cloud !

Horse Power .... poi tompah baju.

2 Real Life Stories...

The First.....

Eleven people were dangling below a helicopter on a rope. There were ten people and one engineering guy.
Since the rope was not strong enough to hold all the eleven, they decided that one of them had to let go to save all the others.
They could not decide who should be the volunteer. Finally the engineering guy said he would let go of the rope since engineering are used to do everything for the company. They for sake their family, don’t claim all of their expenses and do a lot of overtime without getting anything in return.
When he finished his moving speech all the peoples began to clap…

Moral:
Never underestimate the powers of the engineering person.

The Second …
A group of engineering guys and a group of HR people take a train to a conference. Each HR person holds a ticket. But the entire group of engineers has bought only one ticket for a single passenger. The HR people are just shaking their heads and are secretly pleased that the arrogant engineers will finally get what they deserve.

Suddenly one of the engineers calls out: “The conductor is coming!”. At once, all the engineers jump up and squeeze into one of the toilets. The conductor checks the tickets of the HR people. When he notices that the toilet is occupied he knocks on the door and says: “Ticket, please!” One of the engineers slides the single ticket under the doors and the conductor continues merrily on his round.

For the return trip the HR people decide to use the same trick. They buy only one ticket for the entire group but they are baffled as they realize that the engineers didn’t buy any tickets at all. After a while one of the engineers announces again: “The conductor is coming!” Immediately all the HR people race to a toilet and lock themselves in.
All the engineers leisurely walk to the other toilet. Before the last engineer enters the toilet, he knocks on the toilet occupied by the HR people and says: “Ticket, please!”

And the moral of the story?
People like to use the methods of the engineers, but they don’t really understand them.

Facts about Horse Power

  1. Horsepower (hp) is the name of several non-metric unit of power. In scientific discourse, the term "horsepower" is rarely used because of its various definitions and the already existent SI unit for power, the watt (W). However, use of the term "horsepower" persists as a legacy in many languages and industries, particularly as a units of measurement of the maximum power output of internal-combustion engines of automobiles; and often of trucks, buses, and ships. The use of 'HP' is being slowly replaced by kW (kilowatt) and MW (megawatt). More facts about Horse Power, click here.

1 HP = 746 watt

Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)

A Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) is a procedure for analysis of potential failure modes within a system for the classification by severity or determination of the failures' effect upon the system. It is widely used in the manufacturing industries in various phases of the product life cycle and is now increasingly finding use in the service industry as well. Failure causes are any errors or defects in process, design, or item especially ones that affect the customer, and can be potential or actual. Effects analysis refers to studying the consequences of those failures.

Basic terms
Failure mode: "The manner by which a failure is observed; it generally describes the way the failure occurs."
Failure effect: The immediate consequences a failure has on the operation, function or functionality, or status of some item
Indenture levels: An identifier for item complexity. Complexity increases as the levels get closer to one.
Local effect: The Failure effect as it applies to the item under analysis.
Next higher level effect: The Failure effect as it applies at the next higher indenture level.
End effect: The failure effect at the highest indenture level or total system.
Failure cause: Defects in design, process, quality, or part application, which are the underlying cause of the failure or which initiate a process which leads to failure.
Severity: "The consequences of a failure mode. Severity considers the worst potential consequence of a failure, determined by the degree of injury, property damage, or system damage that could ultimately occur."

Brain : Woman Vs Man

Amazing Earth Facts

  1. El Azizia in Libya recorded a temperature of 136 degrees Fahrenheit (57.8 Celsius) on Sept. 13, 1922 -- the hottest ever measured. In Death Valley, it got up to 134 Fahrenheit on July 10, 1913.
  2. The coldest temperature ever measured on Earth was -129 Fahrenheit (-89 Celsius) at Vostok, Antarctica, on July 21, 1983.
  3. The worlds highest waterfall is the water of Angel Falls in Venezuela drops 3,212 feet (979 meters).

  4. The distance from the surface of Earth to the center is about 3,963 miles (6,378 kilometers). Much of Earth is fluid. The mostly solid skin of the planet is only 41 miles (66 kilometers) thick -- thinner than the skin of an apple, relatively speaking.
  5. The Nile River in Africa is 4,160 miles (6,695 kilometers) long.

  6. Lloro, Colombia averages 523.6 inches of rainfall a year, or more than 40 feet (13 meters). That's about 10 times more than fairly wet major cities in Europe or the United States.

  7. About 97 percent. Oceans make up about two-thirds of Earth's surface, which means that when the next asteroid hits the planet, odds are good it will splash down.

  8. There are 196,950,711 square miles (510,100,000 square kilometers) earth surface area.
  9. About one-thirdof the Earth’s land surface is desert.

Bas.....sikal

Kato subsidi makanan dinaikkan? Tah apo-apo tah....

Left and Right Conflict!!

Amazing Mathematics

You will need a calculator for this:
Take the number of the month you were born

multiply by 4
add 13
multiply by 25
subtract 200
add the day of the month on which you were born
multiply by 2
subtract 40
multiply by 50
add the last two digits of the year in which you were born
subtract 10,500.

Notice anything about your answer?

Its your birthday's date.....MM/DD/YY

Double Picture Illusion

Look carefuly at this picture, what do you see?
After you make your decision, scroll down for an explanation.

You saw a couple in an intimate love position, right?
Interestingly, research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario.
What they will see, however, is nine (small & black) dolphins in the picture!
So, I guess we've already proven you're not a young innocent child. Now, if it's hard for you to find the dolphins within 6 seconds, your mind is SO corrupted that you probably need help!
OK, here's help: look at the space between her right arm and her head, the tail is on her neck, follow it up. Look at her left hip, follow the shaded part down, it's another one, and on his shoulder..

For more Illusion Picture...

Pelik tapi bonar..
