Bagaimana Menentukan Awal Ramadhan ?

Jadi bulan Sya`ban umurnya hanya 29 hari bukan 30 hari. Maka ditetapkan untuk melakukan ibadah Ramadhan seperti shalat tarawih, makan sahur dan mulai berpuasa.
2. Ikmal

The first photo...

1. First Photo....
Joseph Nicéphore Niépce took this picture from his workroom in 1826. It represents the world’s earliest-known, permanent photograph from nature.2. First color photograph
The first permanent color photograph, taken by James Clerk Maxwell in 1861. The quality of the photograph, or the quality of the scan of the photograph, but it is difficult to figure out what the subject of the photograph is. With a little research and the fact that James Clerk Maxwell was a Scott, I believe this to be a piece of tartan ribbon.

Road Train : The largest and heaviest road-legal vehicles

Road Train is the largest and heaviest road-legal vehicles in the world, with some configurations topping out at close to 200 tonnes (220 short tons). The majority are between 80 and 120 t (88 and 130 short tons). Two-trailer road trains, or "doubles," are allowed in most parts of Australia, with the exception of some urban areas. Three trailer road trains (triples) operate in western New South Wales, western Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, with the last three states also allowing AB-Quads (3.5 trailers).

Road trains can be unwieldy, and driving and maneuvering them safely without unduly obstructing traffic is only possible because of the sparse traffic and extremely flat and straight terrain through the Australian outback. Strict regulations also apply regarding licensing and driving experience. The multiple dog-trailers (defined below) are unhooked, the dollys removed and then connected individually to multiple trucks at "assembly" yards when the road train gets close to populated areas.

Road trains are used for transporting all manner of materials, with livestock, fuel, mineral ores and general freight the most common. Their cost-effective transport has played a significant part in the economic development of remote areas, with some communities totally reliant on a regular service.

What are Blood Types?

Everybody has a Blood type. The most common Blood type classification system is the ABO system discovered and defined by Karl Landsteiner in the early 1900s. There are four types of Blood in the ABO system: A, B, AB, and O. Your Blood type is established before you are born, by specific genes inherited from your parents. You receive one gene from your mother and one gene from your father; these two combine to establish your Blood type. These two inherited genes determine your Blood type by making proteins called agglutinogens exist on the surface of each red Blood cell in your body. Blood test results are important in Blood disorders in Blood test and Blood tests with Rare Blood types.

There are three alleles (variations) of the Blood type gene: A, B, and O. Since we all have two copies of these genes in our Blood, there are six possible combinations; AA, BB, OO, AB, AO, and BO. These combinations are referred to as genotypes, and they describe the genes you got from your parents.

In addition to the proteins existing on your red Blood cells, other genes make proteins called agglutinins that circulate in your Blood plasma. Agglutinins are protectors of our bodies and are responsible for ensuring that only the Blood cells of our own particular Blood type exist in our bodies.

AB
People with Blood type AB negative (1/2% of the population) and AB positive are potential universal plasma donors. This means plasma can be transfused to people having all Blood types.

AB +
People with Blood type AB positive comprise 3-1/2% of the population. People with this type of Blood are universal recipients. This means that they can be transfused with any type of Blood in emergency situations.
Facts about Blood Types with charts about Blood Types and Blood type information

O +
O positive donors are needed more frequently than any other donor. Because O positive is the most common Blood type (39% of the population), it is needed more often by people requiring Blood in hospitals.
Facts about Blood Types with charts about Blood Types and Blood type information

O -
7% of the population has O negative Blood. People with O negative donors are potential universal red Blood cell donors. This means that their red Blood cells can be transfused to patients with all types of Blood.
Facts about Blood Types with charts about Blood Types and Blood type information

Simply put, your Blood is tested for ABO/Rh. These tests identify your 'Blood type.' You may have A, B, O, or AB type Blood and may be either Rh+ or Rh-. The basis of the Blood group tests is the ability to detect specific substances, or antigens, on the red Blood cells. The A antigen is on type A cells; the B antigen is on type B cells. If neither A nor B antigens are detected, the donor has type O Blood; if both are present, the donor has type AB Blood. If the major Rh antigen is present, the donor is Rh+ (for example, O+, A+, B+, or AB+); if not, the donor is Rh- (O-, A-, B-, or AB-).

There are more than 600 other antigens that have now been identified on red Blood cells. These sub-types are important, but often not considered.

Why I was fired..?

For the last company's picnic, the management had decided that, due to liability issues....we could have a drinks, but only one cup per person..

Unfortunately, I was fired for ordering the paper cups..

Sick Husband ...

A woman accompanied her husband to the doctor's office.
After the check-up, the doctor took the wife aside and said, "If you don't do the following, your husband will surely die".

1.Each morning, fix him a healthy breakfast and send him off to work in a good mood.

2.At lunch time, make him a warm, nutritious meal and put him in a good frame of mind before he goes back to work.

3.For dinner, fix an especially nice meal, and don't burden him with household chores.

4.Have sex with him several times a week and satisfy his every whim.

On the way home, the husband asked his wife what the doctor had told her.

"You're going to die," she replied.

Heart Bypass Surgery

What is coronary artery bypass surgery?

This is a type of heart surgery. It's sometimes called CABG ("cabbage"). The surgery reroutes, or "bypasses," blood around clogged arteries to improve blood flow and oxygen to the heart.

Why is this surgery done?

The arteries that bring blood to the heart muscle (coronary arteries) can become clogged by plaque (a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances). This can slow or stop blood flow through the heart's blood vessels, leading to chest pain or a heart attack. Increasing blood flow to the heart muscle can relieve chest pain and reduce the risk of heart attack.

How is coronary bypass done?

Surgeons take a segment of a healthy blood vessel from another part of the body and make a detour around the blocked part of the coronary artery.

  • An artery may be detached from the chest wall and the open end attached to the coronary artery below the blocked area.
  • A piece of a long vein in your leg may be taken. One end is sewn above the blocked area and the other end of the vein is attached or "grafted" to the coronary artery below the blocked area.
  • Either way, blood can use this new path to flow freely to the heart muscle.

A patient may undergo one, two, three or more bypass grafts, depending on how many coronary arteries are blocked.

Cardiopulmonary bypass with a pump oxygenator (heart-lung machine) is used for most coronary bypass graft operations. This means that besides the surgeon, other surgical staff members include a cardiac anesthesiologist, surgical nurses, and a perfusionist (blood flow specialist).

During the past several years, more surgeons have started performing off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery (OPCAB). In it, the heart continues beating while the bypass graft is sewn in place. In some patients, OPCAB may reduce intraoperative bleeding (and the need for blood transfusion), renal complications and postoperative neurological deficits (problems after surgery).
