Live up to 100 !

A man asked his doctor if he thought he'd live to be a hundred.

The doctor asked the man, "Do you smoke or drink?"

"No," he replied, "I've never done either."

"Do you gamble, drive fast cars, and fool around with women?" inquired the doctor.

"No, I've never done any of those things either."

"Well then," said the doctor, "what do you want to live to be a hundred for?"

For own phone..... Bagpipe music

  1. Bagpipe music "Scotland The Brave" ( by Mattpiper)

Bagpipes are a class of musical instrument, aerophones using enclosed reeds fed from a constant reservoir of air in the form of a bag. Though the Scottish Great Highland Bagpipe and Irish uilleann pipes have the greatest international visibility, bagpipes have historically been found throughout Europe, and into Northern Africa, the Persian Gulf, and the Caucasus.

Heart Bypass Surgery

What is coronary artery bypass surgery?

This is a type of heart surgery. It's sometimes called CABG ("cabbage"). The surgery reroutes, or "bypasses," blood around clogged arteries to improve blood flow and oxygen to the heart.

Why is this surgery done?

The arteries that bring blood to the heart muscle (coronary arteries) can become clogged by plaque (a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances). This can slow or stop blood flow through the heart's blood vessels, leading to chest pain or a heart attack. Increasing blood flow to the heart muscle can relieve chest pain and reduce the risk of heart attack.

How is coronary bypass done?

Surgeons take a segment of a healthy blood vessel from another part of the body and make a detour around the blocked part of the coronary artery.

  • An artery may be detached from the chest wall and the open end attached to the coronary artery below the blocked area.
  • A piece of a long vein in your leg may be taken. One end is sewn above the blocked area and the other end of the vein is attached or "grafted" to the coronary artery below the blocked area.
  • Either way, blood can use this new path to flow freely to the heart muscle.

A patient may undergo one, two, three or more bypass grafts, depending on how many coronary arteries are blocked.

Cardiopulmonary bypass with a pump oxygenator (heart-lung machine) is used for most coronary bypass graft operations. This means that besides the surgeon, other surgical staff members include a cardiac anesthesiologist, surgical nurses, and a perfusionist (blood flow specialist).

During the past several years, more surgeons have started performing off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery (OPCAB). In it, the heart continues beating while the bypass graft is sewn in place. In some patients, OPCAB may reduce intraoperative bleeding (and the need for blood transfusion), renal complications and postoperative neurological deficits (problems after surgery).

Puisi Lama : Dunia kepayahan...

DUNIA KEPAYAHAN

Satu demi satu
Terbang ditiup angin
Satu demi satu
Datang entah dari mana
Mendokong seribu harapan
Namun niat tidak tercapai
Dulu di sini bagai siang yang ceria
Penuh dengan warna-warna kegembiraan
Kini bagaikan kabus melindungi penglihatan
Di sini hanya segelintir yang berusaha
Tetapi masih ramai bertradisi lama
Namun aku masih di sini
Di dalam dunia kepayahan
Kerana di dada ini masih ada keikhlasan
Jauh dari noda yang hina….

Nukilan : ’85’

What is inflation?

Inflation is the rate of increase in the level of prices for goods and services, which affects the purchasing value of money.

In the UK the most well-known and detailed measure of inflation is the Retail Prices Index. The rate of inflation is expressed as a percentage and is published every month. The National Statistics Office define it as 'an average measure of change in the prices of goods and services bought for the purpose of consumption by the vast majority of households in the UK'.*

Why is inflation such a problem?

Inflation is a bit like rust. At first you hardly notice it, then gradually it builds up and starts to corrode your savings. Although inflation isn't as high as it was in the 1970s and 1980s,* it still has the power to erode the value of an investment. So any money you invest has to grow by at least the rate of inflation just to stop its purchasing power from falling. You should also consider the charges on any investment you make, which can also eat into the value of your investment.

Could you give me a simple example?
Let's imagine inflation at 4%. It doesn't seem like much, but it means that in 10 years the purchasing power of £1000 will fall to only £676 in today's

Snake house of death shocker

Almost all of the 70 snakes at the snake farm at the Ulu Bendul Forest Reserve near here have died in the past few months.
The dead snakes are believed to include a green anaconda from Brazil, which made the headlines in May when it gave birth to 13 offspring.

The anaconda was one of a pair that had arrived at the snake farm at the Ulu Bendul Forest Reserve here in March.

It is believed all the anacondas, including the babies, have died.

Among the snakes at the farm were six red-tailed boa imported from Brazil and a Burmese python from Myanmar.

Others included the blood python, Borneo short-tailed python, Amazon tree boa, Columbia boa, Brazillian rainbow boa, Albino Burmese python, Indian python and the Bolivian anaconda.
