Kebebasan Hak Asasi

· bagi memberi dan mengiktiraf hak-hak individu dan masyarakat;

‘Biar salah kain, jangan salah mulut’ .

Late For Work

Tom had this problem of getting up late in the morning and was always late for work. His boss was mad at him and threatened to fire him if he didn't do something about it. So Tom went to his doctor who gave him a pill and told him to take it before he went to bed. Tom slept well and in fact beat the alarm in the morning. He had a leisurely breakfast and drove cheerfully to work. "Boss", he said, "The pill actually worked!" "That's all fine" said the boss, "But where were you yesterday?"

Very Busy !

A young businessman had just started his own firm. He rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques. Sitting there, he saw a man come in to the outer office. Wishing to appear the hot shot, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working. He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments. Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?"

The man said, "Yeah, I've come to activate your phone lines."

Hak kebebasan bersuara disekat !!

Goodbye Mom!

A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to the checkout line, but she got in front of him.

"Pardon me," she said, "I'm sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son, who just died recently."

"I'm very sorry," replied the young man, "is there anything I can do for you?"
"Yes," she said, "As I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mother!' ?
It would make me feel so much better."
"Sure," answered the young man.

As the old woman was leaving, he called out, "Goodbye, Mother!"
As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total was $127.50.
"How can that be?" he asked, "I only purchased a few things!"

"Your mother said that you would pay for her," said the clerk.

World's 1st Air-Powered Car : Is it the next big thing?

Tata Motors is taking giant strides and making history for itself. First the Landrover-Jaguar deal, then the world's cheapest car and now it is also set to introduce the car that runs on air, compressed air to be specific.

With fuel prices touching nearly $150 per barrel, it is about time we heard some breakthrough! India's largest automaker Tata Motors is set to start producing the world's first commercial air-powered vehicle. The Air Car, developed by ex-Formula One engineer Guy Nègre for Luxembourg-based MDI, uses compressed air, as opposed to the gas-and-oxygen explosions of internal-combustion models, to push its engine's pistons. Some 6000 zero-emissions Air Cars are scheduled to hit Indian streets by August of 2009. The Air Car, called the MiniCAT could cost around $ 8177 in India and would have a range of around 300 km between refuels. The cost of a refill would be about $ 2. Tata motors also plans to launch the world's cheapest car, Tata Nano priced famously at One lakh rupees by October. The MiniCAT which is a simple, light urban car, with a tubular chassis that is glued not welded and a body of fiberglass powered by compressed air. Microcontrollers are used in every device in the car, so one tiny radio transmitter sends instructions to the lights, indicators etc. There are no keys - just an access card which can be read by the car from your pocket. According to the designers, it costs less than 50 rupees per 100Km (about a tenth that of a petrol car). Its mileage is about double that of the most advanced electric car (200 to 300 km or 10 hours of driving), a factor which makes a perfect choice in cities where the 80% of motorists drive at less than 60Km. The car has a top speed of 105 kmph. Refilling the car will, once the market develops, take place at adapted petrol stations to administer compressed air. In two or three minutes, and at a cost of approximately 100 rupees, the car will be ready to go another 200-300 kilometers
(Credited to Mr. Ir. Freddy)

"Road Stud" has been removed !!

This morning when I take a ride to Senawang, it is found that the road stud which caused my car's tyre damage last week had been removed. But either it is permanently removed or not I don't know.

Hydrofuel : An alternative for fuel saving.

How did it works?
These water hybrid plans essentially convert your vehicle to use water as a source of supplemental or even (theoretically) primary fuel. The engine derives fuel from hydrogen and oxygen, generated by the electrolysis of water. Although petroleum derived fuel and an external electrical generating system is not theoretically required, in most circumstances it is a practical necessity. The only byproduct resulting from the hydrogen and oxygen components of combustion within the engine is water vapor. Therefore, emissions are usually cleaner, emitting fewer polluting particles. In short, the Water-hybrid system is a “cleaner” system; one that derives supplemental fuel from a free and inexhaustible resource; WATER! It has the unique advantage of being able to remove pollutants from the air during combustion, and even reduces the carbon residue within the engine (similar to the effect of higher octane fuels).
Water electrolysis is simply the breaking down of water into its basic hydrogen and oxygen atoms by passing an electronic current through it. You don’t even have to add an electrolyte (such as acid) to the water to assure electrical conductivity, as is required with a battery; plain old tap water works fine because it contains natural electrolytes such as minerals, and also municipal additives such as chlorine which also aid in electrical conductivity. In fact, electrolysis is in many ways similar to the reaction which occurs within your vehicles’ battery. Electrolysis of water us nothing new; it was first accomplished nearly a century ago. But, until technologies like the water-hybrid system were developed, it required a high voltage power supply and consumed vast amounts of electrical energy. It actually required much more electrical energy than the energy derived from the combustion of the resulting hydrogen and oxygen. In other words, it was an extremely inefficient process that had limited practical use.The water-hybrid system is a practical solution developed for use in fuel-injected and carbureted motor vehicles. The secret of the water-hybrid system lies within its HyTronic module. It produced relatively low voltage, but uniquely shaped electronic pulses of precise frequency and duration. The overall power consumption of the HyTronic module and the entire water-hybrid system is fairly low; actually low enough to be easily powered by your vehicles’ excess electrical and heat output, and with enough reserve power left to help run all your vehicle’s other electrical devices.

It's 112 not 999!

A young lady was robbed and slashed on the face two days ago in TamanDesa.

She just got off from her car and was in front of her friend's house pressing door bell.. She saw a motorbike with two men coming toward her direction but she thought they were security guards. Then before she knew anything, one of the men has already slashed her face with a knife and grabbed her bag. She didn't know it was a cut until she touched her face and found out it was bleeding. She was screaming out of shock. One of the man came back (they were already on the motorbike and ready to leave) and tried to slash her again. Luckily she was able to hold on his hand to stop the attack. At that time, her friend came out to check what happen and the men quickly ran away.

The cut was 9 cm long and 1 cm deep. Now those robbers' tactic! is to hurt you first before they rob you so that you are handicapped and can't resist them. Even later there are someone to help, they have to rescue you first instead of chasing them. Please be alert all the time and take every precaution measure you could. Emergency Number:

Please be aware the Emergency Number worldwide for GSM Mobile (012, 013, 016, 017, 019) is 112 and not 999.

You can dial 112 even without a Sim Card. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. Do share this important info with your family members and friends.

How to be good presenter ?

Before your presentation

  • Practise your presentation aloud. Use your own words instead of sticking to the words in the training material.

  • Ensure all equipment, handouts and examples are on hand.

  • Plan the room layout carefully, bearing in mind the amount of activity involved.

During your presentation

  • Avoid reading your presentation. Cards with dot points – rather than one long script – will enable you to look at your audience, use your own language and keep your voice interesting.

  • Speak clearly, concisely, and loud enough to be heard easily by everybody. Use a microphone if you are comfortable with one and it is available. Lapel microphones mean you can move around the room and still be heard. Try not to lock yourself behind a lectern.

  • Visual aids can greatly assist in understanding. But they can also be irritating or distracting if not used well.

After your presentation

  • As soon as possible after the presentation, make notes about what you felt went well and what didn't.

Fishbone Diagram : A Problem-Analysis Tool

What is a Fishbone diagram?

Dr. Kaoru Ishikawa, a Japanese quality control statistician, invented the fishbone diagram. Therefore, it may be referred to as the Ishikawa diagram. The fishbone diagram is an analysis tool that provides a systematic way of looking at effects and the causes that create or contribute to those effects. Because of the function of the fishbone diagram, it may be referred to as a cause-and-effect diagram. The design of the diagram looks much like the skeleton of a fish. Therefore, it is often referred to as the fishbone diagram.

Whatever name you choose, remember that the value of the fishbone diagram is to assist teams in categorizing the many potential causes of problems or issues in an orderly way and in identifying root causes.

When should a fishbone diagram be used?

Does the team...

  • Need to study a problem/issue to determine the root cause?
  • Want to study all the possible reasons why a process is beginning to have difficulties, problems, or breakdowns?
  • Need to identify areas for data collection?
  • Want to study why a process is not performing properly or producing the desired results?

How is a fishbone diagram constructed?

Basic Steps:

1.Draw the fishbone diagram....

2.List the problem/issue to be studied in the "head of the fish".

3.Label each ""bone" of the "fish". The major categories typically utilized are:

  • The 4 M’s:
    • Methods, Machines, Materials, Manpower
  • The 4 P’s:
    • Place, Procedure, People, Policies
  • The 4 S’s: Surroundings, Suppliers, Systems, Skills

Note: You may use one of the four categories suggested, combine them in any fashion or make up your own. The categories are to help you organize your ideas.

>Use an idea-generating technique (e.g., brainstorming) to identify the factors within each category that may be affecting the problem/issue and/or effect being studied. The team should ask... "What are the machine issues affecting/causing..."

>Repeat this procedure with each factor under the category to produce sub-factors. Continue asking, "Why is this happening?" and put additional segments each factor and subsequently under each sub-factor.

>Continue until you no longer get useful information as you ask, "Why is that happening?"

>Analyze the results of the fishbone after team members agree that an adequate amount of detail has been provided under each major category. Do this by looking for those items that appear in more than one category. These become the 'most likely causes".

>For those items identified as the "most likely causes", the team should reach consensus on listing those items in priority order with the first item being the most probable" cause.

Personal Protective Equipment

OSHA requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce employee exposure to hazards when engineering and administrative controls are not feasible or effective in reducing these exposure to acceptable levels. Employers are required to determine if PPE should be used to protect their workers.

PPE is defined in the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations as:

‘All equipment (including clothing affording protection against the weather) which is intended to be worn or held by a person at work which protects them against one or more risks to their health and safety’.

Therefore PPE includes equipment such as; safety footwear, hard hats, high visibility waistcoats, goggles, life jackets, respirators, safety harnesses, etc.

Presentation's Day

Namun seperti isu pertama tadi mereka hanya berdiam diri.

Horse Power hanya menjadi medan luahan perasaan..... No hal.

Embryo Fact

The Visible Embryo is a visual guide through fetal development from fertilization through pregnancy to birth. As the most profound physiologic changes occur in the "first trimester" of pregnancy, these Carnegie stages are given prominence on the birth spiral.

The shape and location of embryonic interal structures and how they relate and are connected to each other is essential to understanding human development. Medical professionals create a mental picture of this process in order to determine how well the fetus is progressing. It is also the basis of knowing how and when errors in development occur and if a possibility exists for a corrective intervention.

It is equally important for expectant parents to understand the relationship of these internal structures and how their infant develops through pregnancy.

En. Hazizi - Terkini..

Krew Horse Power terkejut apabila En. Menurut En. Hazizi yang ditemui ketika mengadakan sidang blog ini tadi, menyatakan beliau belum lagi menerima baby baru lagi tetapi tidak menafikan bakal menimang cahaya mata baru. Cuma masa yang akan menentukan.

En. Hazizi ketika ditemubual di Blog Conference sebentar tadi..

Friendship !!

Jokes only, beb!!

Drunks....
A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push."Not a chance" says the husband, "it is 3:00 in the morning!" He slams the door and returns to bed."Who was that?" asked his wife."Just some drunk guy asking for a push" he answers."Did you help him?" she asks."No, I did not. It is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!""Well, you have a short memory," says the wife. "Cant you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him and you should be ashamed of yourself!"The man does as he is told, gets dressed, and goes out into the pouring rain.He calls out into the dark, "Hello, are you still there?""Yes" comes back the answer."Do you still need a push?" calls out the husband."Yes, please!" comes the reply from the dark."Where are you?" asks the husband."Over here on the swing" replied the drunk.

I've sure gotten old!
I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

The wife
The wife came home early and found her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman and was somewhat upset -- "You are a disrespectful pig!" she cried. "How dare you do this to me -- a faithful wife, the mother of your children! I'm leaving you. I want a divorce straight away!"And the husband replied "Hang on just a minute Love, so at least I can tell you what happened.""Fine, go ahead," she sobbed, "but they'll be the last words you'll ever say to me!!And the husband began --"Well, I was getting into the car to drive home and this young lady here asked me for a lift. She looked so down and out and defenseless that I took pity on her and let her into the car. I noticed that she was thin, poorly dressed and very dirty. She told me that she hadn't eaten for three days ! So, in my compassion, I brought her home and warmed up the enchiladas I made for you last night - the ones you wouldn't eat because you're afraid you'll put on weight. The poor thing devoured them in moments. Since she needed a good clean up I suggested a shower, and while she was doing that I noticed her clothes were dirty and full of holes, so I threw them away. Then, as she needed clothes, I gave her the designer jeans that you have had for a few years, But don't use because you say they are too tight. I also gave her the underwear that was your Anniversary present, which you don't use because I don't have good taste. I went and found the sexy blouse my sister gave you for Christmas - the one that you don't wear just to annoy her, and I also donated those boots you bought at that expensive shoe boutique and don't use because someone at work has a pair the same." The husband took a quick breath and continued - "She was so grateful for my understanding and help and as I walked her to the door she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said, "Please, do you have anything else that your wife doesn't use?"

Biodiesel

Biodiesel refers to a non-petroleum-based diesel fuel consisting of short chain alkyl (methyl or ethyl) esters, made by transesterification of vegetable oil, which can be used (alone, or blended with conventional petrodiesel) in unmodified diesel-engine vehicles. Biodiesel is distinguished from the straight vegetable oil (SVO) (aka "waste vegetable oil", "WVO", "used vegetable oil", "UVO", "unwashed biodiesel", "pure plant oil", "PPO") used (alone, or blended) as fuels in some converted diesel vehicles. "Biodiesel" is standardized as mono-alkyl ester and other kinds of diesel-grade fuels of biological origin are not included.

Biodiesel can also be used in its pure form (B100), but may require certain engine modifications to avoid maintenance and performance problems. Blending B100 with petro diesel may be accomplished by:
  • Mixing in tanks at manufacturing point prior to delivery to tanker truck
  • Splash mixing in the tanker truck (adding specific percentages of Biodiesel and Petro Diesel)
  • In-line mixing, two components arrive at tanker truck simultaneously.

Solar Power

Solar energy is the heat and light radiated from the Sun that drives Earth's climate and supports life. Solar technologies make controlled use of this energy resource. Solar power is a synonym of solar energy or refers specifically to the conversion of sunlight into electricity by photovoltaics, concentrating solar thermal devices or various experimental technologies.

The controlled use of solar energy is an important consideration in building design. Thermal mass is used to conserve the heat that sunshine delivers to all buildings. Daylighting techniques optimize the use of light in buildings. Solar water heaters heat swimming pools and provide domestic hot water. In agriculture, greenhouses grow specialty crops and photovoltaic-powered pumps bring water to grazing animals. Evaporation ponds find applications in the commercial and industrial sectors where they are used to harvest salt and clean waste streams of contaminants.

Solar distillation and disinfection techniques produce potable water for millions of people worldwide. Family-scale solar cookers and larger solar kitchens concentrate sunlight for cooking, drying and pasteurization. More sophisticated concentrating technologies magnify the rays of the Sun for high temperature material testing, metal smelting and industrial chemical production. A range of prototype solar vehicles provide ground, air and sea transportation.
